a sunny weekend post....on Thursday!

Now that the weather is getting a little cooler around here (which I am totally ok with - soo ready for fall!) the boys and I were happy to have a few lingering summery days this past weekend. We had a busy one with Jason working, travelling to see family and cleaning for a short-noticed open house. That last bit was a mess up all around but hopefully will be worth it if our house sells!

We spent some time in the backyard and I was able to get Clark to take a few pictures with my camera - I was surprised at how well his shots turned out for being three! Although he was given a Fisher Price kids camera for Christmas he always prefers mine so I usually let him use it and I will admit that a tiny part of me hopes he breaks it just so that I can get a new one! Ha! Isn't that awful?

I had to take the opportunity to wear this skirt that I made for the first time too! It's from a random strip of thrifted fabric, I think it is a polyester but I can never pass up a pretty floral. I wore it with a basic striped tank and really liked the patterns mixed together. When I asked Clark to get a picture of my skirt, belt and tattoo this is what he got! h&k, Mandi

  1. wow, those pics are great for a 3 year old! By the way, I also keep hoping my camera breaks. There's nothing wrong with it but it's 5 years old and I'd love a 'modern' one :-)
