The last few weeks I have been able to get in a bit of sewing time now that the holiday frenzy has calmed down. It has been a while since I have sewn an actual garment for myself and I wanted to start with something simple but satisfying! You know, rebuild that sewing confidence with something easy and hopefully start challenging myself again bit by bit.
I used this free pattern from BurdaStyle and they were so quick I managed to make three, with the first being a dress variation! I really like the simple cut and slouchy fit - it is so exciting to have my mind back in the sewing world! (PS. you can see more shots of my dress here too.) xo Mandi
